We are building the Largest Community of CVC Funds and Institutional Investors in Latin America
Over the past decade, Latin America has emerged as a thriving hub for startups and innovation.
With a rapidly growing middle class and a young, tech-savvy population, the region has attracted the attention of investors from around the world. However, despite the promise of the Latin American market, many investors remain hesitant to get involved due to a lack of access to reliable information and local networks.
CVC will come to the fore
Gary Dushnitsky forecasts that corporate venture capital (CVC) will become more prominent in the coming years. He expects to see an increase in both the number and value of CVC deals, surpassing those in the traditional venture capital market. CVC firms are often able to identify emerging trends and innovations early on, making them well-positioned to drive the growth of new sectors and shape venture capital trends in the process.
The economic downturn has made startups more appealing to corporate venture capital (CVC) firms. Startups are now more focused on profitability, making the networks and resources CVCs can provide especially valuable.
Partnering with a CVC can also lend credibility and bring valuable real-world experience and support. CVCs are known for their thorough due diligence practices, which is especially important in times of instability. Additionally, their strategic focus can be attractive to founders and help them clarify their own growth strategies. Given all these factors, it is expected that 2023 will be a successful year for CVC.
The launching of the CVC LATAM network:
To address this challenge, we are excited to announce the launch of The CVC LATAM Network, the largest community of institutional and CVC funds in Latin America. Our goal is to connect investors with the best investment opportunities in the region, while also providing a platform for startups to showcase their innovative ideas and gain access to capital.
As part of our mission, we will host regular events and workshops for our community members, including pitch sessions with top-tier startups, educational seminars on the latest trends and best practices in venture capital, and networking events to facilitate collaboration and deal-making.
Our team consists of experienced professionals with deep knowledge of the Latin American market, as well as a network of partnerships with leading accelerators, incubators, venture builders, and other key players in the startup ecosystem. We are committed to providing our members with the resources and support they need to succeed in this exciting and fast-growing market.
We invite all institutional and CVC funds interested in exploring the potential of Latin America to join our community and be a part of this exciting journey. Together, we can create a vibrant and sustainable ecosystem for innovation and investment in the region.
